In “new news media,” honesty remains important

At Maine Startup & Create Week, I spoke on a panel about new news media. (Specifically, the panel was called “New News Media: Staying relevant in the evolving face of news media.”

Panelists included Lauren Landry (Digital Content Specialist for Northeastern University and a contributor to Boston Magazine), Frank Gruber (Tech.Co), and myself. We discussed the importance of assertiveness, knowledge of audience, and the continued importance of maintaining trust.

[Disclaimer: While I am sharing this because the subject matter applies to what I write and blog about, I should note that my company produced this video in paid partnership with Maine Startup & Create Week. Our agreement, however, does not require me to share this content here. Honesty! See? It’s awesome!]
