The Full House theme song is super dark

hqdefault

I am zero percent interested in making light of suicide, but (and perhaps it’s all the Golden Gate Bridge imagery that sells this) have we talked about how the lyrics to the Full House theme song read like the perspective of someone who is about to end it all realizing that there’s more to life?

“How did I get to living here?
Somebody tell me please!
This old world’s confusing me.

[…]

“Everywhere you look, everywhere you go There’s a heart (There’s a heart), a hand to hold onto.

[…]

“When you’re lost out there and you’re all alone, A light is waiting to carry you home.”

WHAT.

Anyway… Happy Sunday?

How rude! Oh my lanta! Hot Dog! You got it, dude! Have mercy!

Cut.
It.
Out.
